1. How do you trade stocks online?
Use an online broker to buy and sell stocks based on your instructions. You open an account. You put some money in it. Then you can logon to the account and buy and sell stocks. Consider www.tradeking.com, www.fidelity.com and www.zecco.com. Some banks and trading services offer a number of free trades to customers meeting certain minimum balance criteria.

2. What do Members get from MyTechTrades?
Subscribers get a nightly email with the stock trades that the trading systems recommend for the next day. The New York Stock Exchange trading hours are 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Eastern). This allows subscribers to submit buy and sell orders to their online broker before the markets open. Then the trades are executed automatically when the market open.

4. Which technical indicators do you use the most?
MyTechTrades uses just three in conjunction with volume and moving averages.
RSI (Relative Strength Index): J. Welles Wilder developed this indicator and published it in his 1978 book New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems. RSI looks at price momentum by examining the relationship between daily gains and losses during a defined period, commonly 14 days.
Bollinger Bands: John Bollinger developed this indicator of volatility and relative price movement.
MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence): This indicator shows the crossing of fast and slow exponentially smoothed moving averages of price, developed by Gerald Appel.
5. What is backtesting?
Backtesting tests trading systems using historical data. Backtesting shows the stock trading results a system would have produced in a given past period with a given set of stocks.
